How is Colon Hydrotherapy Administered?

Heartland Colon Care uses an open device called “The Angel of Water."

About the Angel Of Water:  The Angel of Water is a gravity fed, open design, premier colon hydrotherapy system and is the first choice for hospitals and clinics around the world.  Whether used prior to endoscopic or radiological exam, as a pre-operative prep procedure, or for preventative maintenance program, the Angel of Water is the safest simplest and most effective solution.  It meets the rigorous standards of the city’s municipal codes and is an FDA Class II medical device.  To see a video demonstration of the device and its use, visit www.angelofwater.com.

The Angel of Water Colon Hydrotherapy Experience:  One of the colon hydrotherapists will greet and accompany you to the therapy room.  The therapist will leave the room while you remove your lower garments.  You’ll then mount the system and gently insert a single-use, well-lubricated, pencil-sized nozzle 1-2 inches into the rectum and drape a cotton sheet over the lower half of your body.

When you are ready, you’ll press the call button to page the therapist, who will then start the system. Simply relax and listen to soothing music as the water gently flows into the colon while releasing its contents into the basin.

Once the session is complete, the colon hydrotherapist will turn off the system and leave the room to allow you to drain and rinse in privacy, dismount the system, towel yourself and then dress.  A session typically lasts 45 minutes.

“My true belief is that colon hydrotherapy is the perfect cleansing medium for preparing the patient for a colonoscopy.  It's a much better way of getting the human colon ready for an operation than having a patient swallow a gallon of that pre-surgery solution known as 'Colon-Go-Lytely.'  Instead, colon hydrotherapy allows the patient to avoid this solutions' noxious side effects of vomiting diarrhea abdominal cramping and other trouble.”

“After conducting a comprehensive digestive stool analysis on any patient suspected of having dysbiosis (poor intestinal hygiene), I attempt to clean the bowel clean by prescribing colon hydrotherapy once a week three times.  Also I use colon hydrotherapy as part of an overall detoxification program.  It is an excellent detoxifier for overindulgence of alcohol drinking and drug addictions of all kinds.  It takes away any desire to use drugs or imbibe alcoholic beverages.  Colon hydrotherapy should be part of nearly any addict’s therapeutic regimen.”
